Job Role • To carry out general maintenance as required throughout the home. • To ensure the home is in good decorative order at all times. • To ensure all external areas and grounds are kept tidy and well maintained to ensure the smart appearance of the home. • To supervise outside contractors • To minimize costs by monitoring energy consumption and maintaining written records. • To upkeep all health and safety records and the periodic testing of appliances and functional items within the home. • Expectation for post holder to responds to emergency situations within the home Candidates Should Have: • A flexible approach to work • Ability to prioritise workload • High Standard of DIY including internal and external decoration. • Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies • An understanding of heating systems • A basic understanding of electrical appliances • An ability to maintain accurate inspection records.
