At Shaw healthcare, we're looking for an inspiring leader to join Wellesley Road, our modern 60-bed care home in Camden, London. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team delivering outstanding nursing, residential and dementia care in a purpose-built environment.

You'll be supported by an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager and a full nursing team, giving you the opportunity to focus on leading people, driving quality, and creating an exceptional home for residents and colleagues alike.

About the Role

As Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, quality and performance of the home, ensuring residents receive exceptional person-centred care while creating a positive and engaging workplace for your team.

You will:

• Provide visible, authentic and inspiring leadership to the whole team.

• Create a positive culture focused on quality, kindness and continuous improvement.

• Ensure the home consistently delivers outstanding, person-centred care.

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and the local community.

• Lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve their full potential.

• Manage occupancy, budgets and resources effectively to ensure a successful and sustainable service.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC standards and NMC guidance.

• Promote meaningful lifestyles, independence and choice for every resident.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong operational leadership with genuine compassion.

You will have:

• Previous experience managing a care home or service of a similar size and client group.

• A proven track record of achieving high-quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and occupancy.

• A passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.

• The ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams.

• A caring, compassionate and values-led approach.
