We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed team player who we can rely on to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing a variety of daily tasks and will play a key role in the efficient operation currently running at the College. These cleaning duties will include cleaning of corridors, lift areas, toilets, stairs, offices and classrooms. It will also be expected for you to proactively check areas are clean throughout the cleaning shift as appropriate and to escalate any problem areas as soon as they are identified. Communicate with the relevant departments on breakdown and maintenance progress. Complete all relevant reports and accurately maintain in engineering CMMS records. Monitor the efficiency of equipment and identify problem areas to proactively implement improvements. Ensure the engineering spares store records are updated when parts and materials are used. Maintain all work areas to the required 5S standards. Ensure that you record and communicate any adjustments to production equipment. Be fully competent in a wide range of machine and equipment operating and cleaning procedures. Review daily achievement of targets and report variances. Resolve all operational problems on the lines. Carry out fault diagnosis and first line repairs where task competent to do so inc. lubrication, breakdown repair, changeover and running adjustments. Carry out effective handovers by communicating key information to other colleagues. Carry out new or additional tasks, projects, trials, and other reasonable duties in conjunction with colleagues in your area of work. Our Performing Arts Section delivers UAL courses in Drama, Dance and Music across levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. The department has a professional standard studio theatre equipped with theatre lighting and sound equipment, two purpose built dance studios and a music department with state of the art recording studios and two Mac Labs. We are seeking to appoint a Technician on a full time, term time only basis, with experience in overseeing both Theatre and Music to join our vibrant performing arts department. Working alongside students, the role will involve rigging and operating lighting and sound for music, acting and dance performances, using an Allen and Heath QU-24 sound mixer and an FLX S48 lighting controller. Throughout the year, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all music equipment and facilities, adhering to Health and Safety regulations and best practice. You would also guide students in the use of technology and support our broad performance programme, supporting in-class activities on a daily basis, which would involve coordinating the allocation and return of musical instruments and equipment, and ensuring resources are available, secure and ready to use. The role The Finance Business Partner role works closely with other members of the Finance team and in particular business partnering with colleagues from Venue Sales and Development.
