The role is based in North London, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days on-site and two days working remotely when operational commitments permit. Key Responsibilities Working within an established Customer Services and Technical Support team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to customers operating sophisticated radar and maritime electronic systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing, commissioning, maintaining and troubleshooting radar, navigation and electronic surveillance equipment. - Conducting technical service visits aboard naval vessels, commercial ships and at shore-based installations. - Undertaking system testing, fault diagnosis and acceptance testing to ensure equipment meets operational requirements. - Providing technical support and advice to customers in the UK and internationally. - Supporting the technical helpdesk when not undertaking field assignments, including responding to customer enquiries and producing technical guidance. - Preparing accurate service reports, technical documentation and associated records. - Working towards delivering technical training to customers and equipment operators. - Identifying recurring technical problems and communicating findings to engineering and management teams. - Ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures and engineering standards. - Participating in additional technical training and professional development as required.
