We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team and support operations within the waste management sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plant Fitter with strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic experience to work in a busy waste processing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of mobile and static plant machinery to ensure maximum equipment reliability and site performance. Key Responsibilities: . Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant equipment, including loaders, compactors, conveyors, shredders, balers, and picking lines. . Diagnose and repair faults within hydraulic systems to minimise equipment downtime. . Maintain, install, and troubleshoot electrical looms, wiring, and connections across plant machinery. . Complete mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault finding and diagnostics. . Carry out repairs and servicing efficiently and safely. . Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment performance, faults, and recurring issues. . Work closely with operations and engineering teams to support site efficiency. . Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures. . Report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly. .
