General Operative – Cleanroom / Production
Location: Wigston, Leicester
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm (early finish on Fridays)

DC Personnel is currently recruiting for a General Operative on behalf of our client based in the Wigston area of Leicester.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking to join a professional manufacturing environment.
The Role:
As a General Operative, you will support the day-to-day manufacturing and packaging processes, working within a controlled cleanroom environment and following strict quality and hygiene standards.
Your duties will include:
Preparing bottles and caps prior to manufacturing
Cleaning manufacturing areas in line with approved cleaning schedules
Loading, unloading and cleaning isolators
Carrying out basic operations within isolators, including filling, capping and inspection
Completing in-process checks and sampling
Completing Batch Manufacturing Records and Batch Packaging Records
Preparing packaging components for manufacturing and packaging operations
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records
Following all company procedures, health & safety requirements and cleanroom standards
About You:
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or cleanroom environment is advantageous, although the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, flexible and hardworking
Comfortable carrying out manual and repetitive tasks
Physically fit and able to spend periods standing
Comfortable with loading and unloading duties
Able to work accurately and follow detailed procedures
Positive and willing to use their own initiative
Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality
Comfortable working in a controlled environment while wearing full PPE
Please note: This role can be physically demanding and involves periods of standing, manual handling, loading and unloading, and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will also be required to work within a controlled cleanroom environment and wear full PPE.
What We Offer:
