The post holder will work closely with households, landlords, managing agents and internal housing teams to resolve accommodation issues, manage tenancy-related matters and support households towards suitable move-on or settled accommodation. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of households placed in temporary accommodation, ensuring cases are actively monitored and progressed. Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements. Deliver GCSE English, Functional Skills English and other relevant English programmes. Support students with their academic development and progression. Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress. Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Develop students' literacy, communication, reading and writing skills. Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team. Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment. About You We're looking for someone who has: Experience teaching English within an FE or Sixth Form setting. Strong subject knowledge across English and related areas. A recognised teaching qualification. A degree in English, English Literature, English Language or a relevant subject. Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills English. Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to engage and motivate learners. A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve strong academic and career outcomes.
