We are seeking reliable and dedicated School Cleaning Operatives to join our team in Stourport, starting in September. This role involves maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within school premises, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students, staff, and visitors. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in commercial cleaning or janitorial work to contribute to a positive educational environment through their attention to detail and professionalism. Stourport High School, Term time only, Monday-Friday, 16:00-18:00 Responsibilities Conduct thorough cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other communal areas within the school premises Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to high hygiene standards Empty bins, replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels, and restock cleaning materials as required Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and other janitorial tools Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks and hazards Report any maintenance issues or damages to the designated supervisor promptly Maintain a tidy storage of cleaning supplies and equipment in designated areas Adhere to school policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols.
