Critical Care Outreach Service is a team of experienced nurses who support all healthcare professionals in the assessment and management of unwell children across the children’s hospital, emergency department, and neonatal unit, following up and supporting children and families following discharge. Education, Development and Training is provided through a structured competency-based development programme, and we are piloting an inhouse PCC L3 specialist course for nursing staff.
