Main duties: Social duties - Encourage the client to socialise with family and friends - Assist with managing type 1 diabetes - Attend medical appointments with the family - Go shopping and travel on buses, trains and trams - Attend social events such as the cinema - Accompany our client to the swimming baths Personal care: Support with bathing/showering, teeth cleaning, dressing. Domestic duties: Support with household tasks such as preparing meals for the client. Helping the client to use the dishwasher and washing machine with the client. These duties may vary from day-to-day.
