Provide the patient or ward staff with appropriate information on how the drugs will be dispatched and the likely waiting time. Answer any basic queries concerning the supply of medication from patients or staff members, including phone queries, referring them to a technician or pharmacist to answer any clinical or technical query. Keep all work areas clean and tidy. Adhere to cleaning SOPs in the Aseptic Lab. Ensure stock is rotated and in date. Following the returns SOP ensure all excess stock is removed from wards and returned to pharmacy stock Assist in basic clerical duties including filing and photocopying. Work flexibly across all of the Pharmacy departments, covering the work of colleagues during peak periods or absence. Participate in appropriate training and development activities including your own personal development and participate in the education and training of colleagues.
