We are looking for someone who has -GCSE Maths and English at Grade C / 4+ (or equivalent). -Formal qualification in Art, Design Technology, or a closely related technical discipline. -Practical experience working within an Art or Design Technology context (educational or industry). -Hands-on experience operating power tools and working confidently with wood, metal, and plastics. -High accuracy and thoroughness in equipment maintenance, material handling, and enforcing safety protocols. -Ability to clearly explain technical advice, safety guidelines, and practical instructions to both staff and students. -Strong initiative to anticipate student/staff needs, take ownership of tasks, and address potential issues before they escalate. -First Aid is desirable but not essential. -UK right to work, as this role is not eligible for sponsorship. As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated Support Workers in Fraserburgh who are passionate about empowering people with disabilities to live independent and fulfilling lives. What You'll Be Doing As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a committed team helping adults with: Learning disabilities Mental health needs Autism Epilepsy Physical disabilities Challenging behaviour Your day may involve: Supporting with personal care and administering medication Helping with cooking, cleaning and household tasks Budgeting and financial planning Providing social support and enabling community participation Attending team meetings and maintaining accurate records Encouraging independence and enhancing quality of life You’ll work a variety of shifts, including early mornings (from 7:30am), evenings (until 10pm) , weekends, and public holidays. Sleepovers and waking night shifts may also be required. Every second weekend off.
