    HGV Class 1 Driver – Fresh Produce Collection & RDC Distribution | Ongoing Work | PAYE Description Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing Fresh Produce Collection and Distribution work with one of our leading food logistics clients. This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 1 Drivers looking for regular, ongoing work transporting fresh produce from farms and food producers to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs), Customer Distribution Centres (CDCs), packing facilities, and distribution hubs across the UK. The role involves operating modern temperature-controlled refrigerated articulated vehicles with box trailers, ensuring fresh produce is transported safely while maintaining the cold chain throughout every journey. Drivers can expect a mixture of farm collections, distribution centre deliveries, and occasional return collections depending on the daily route. Routes generally consist of 1 to 5 deliveries or collections per shift, with a combination of loading bays and tail lift deliveries. Most loads are handled using pallet trucks and forklift trucks, although there is an occasional element of light handball when delivering produce to customer locations. Shift lengths are typically 10 to 12 hours, with both local and nationwide routes available. All work is fully planned in accordance with Driver's Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive, and all current UK transport legislation. I experience debilitating panic attacks when out of the house alone, and therefore need a kind and reassuring presence to help me to access the world again. Ideally, you would be available for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings, as these are the times I do not have family support. I will also need some support organising appointments, initiating housework (body doubling), and attending appointments. There is no personal care requirements nor do I have mobility issues. I require someone who drives and has access to a car as I can't use public transport due to panic. Role: -To provide emotional support when Adele is experiencing anxiety/panic/sensory overwhelm. -To help Adele to calm and settle when experiencing anxiety/panic/overwhelm. -To accompany Adele on any journey out of the house. Eg to the shops, dog walks, to craft groups, to the allotment etc. -To drive Adele to destinations. These will only be short local destinations. -To support Adele in trying to use public transport. -To body double with household tasks.
