Senior SEN Teaching Assistant - Harrow
Location: Harrow, North West London
Pay: £100-£110 per day PAYE

We're recruiting a Senior SEN Teaching Assistant in Harrow to work within a supportive primary school on a full-time, long-term basis.
You'll continue doing what you do best - working directly with children - while developing experience in interventions, progress monitoring and individual SEND support.
Working alongside teachers and the SENCO, you'll support pupils with needs that may include autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, sensory needs and learning difficulties.
You'll have opportunities to:

This is a chance to understand more of the why behind SEND support, rather than simply delivering activities.
The experience you build could support future progression towards roles such as HLTA, Specialist SEND TA, Learning Mentor, Intervention Lead, Pastoral Support or teacher training.
Formal leadership experience isn't required.
We're looking for someone who already has good practical SEND experience and is ready to develop further.
You could currently be working as a:
SEN TA • SEND Teaching Assistant • Learning Support Assistant • 1:1 TA • Specialist Teaching Assistant • Learning Mentor
You'll need to be confident working with children, comfortable communicating with other professionals and genuinely interested in developing your SEND knowledge.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, will be required.
