Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Procurement Contract Support Officer, to work within a Council's Digital Programmes & Projects Service, to support the procurement and commissioning of products and services. Contract is for 3 to 4 months in Bradford, BD1 1HX

Procurement Contract Support Officer

Pay Rate: Approx. £195.96 per day PAYE, doe

Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours

Contract length: 3 to 4 months

Location: Bradford, BD1 1HX

Hybrid working, with one day in the office per week. Candidates within a daily commutable distance

Key requirements:

Significant and detailed public sector procurement experience

Experience of sourcing through frameworks, tenders and a working knowledge of PA 2023/PCR 2015 legislation

Experience of technology Hardware, Software & Services related procurement expertise

Knowledge of Local Authority professional purchasing principles, best practice approach to procurement and experience of working in multi functional business environment.

Key responsibilities

Working in the Digital Programmes & Projects Service you will support the procurement and commissioning of products and services that underpin the delivery of digital & technology services to our Citizens, Colleagues and Partner Organisations.

Provide procurement support to the IT services in accordance with Council financial regulations and Contract Standing orders.

Use agreed IT service management tools to accurately capture data relating to ITIL processes. Ensure service related documentation is accurate and relevant.

Responsible for assets, equipment and materials within the ICT service undertaking.
