Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Chorley area to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality education and ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential.

Your new roleAs a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils across the KS2 curriculum. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The role will involve:

Planning and delivering creative and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Foster high standards of literacy and numeracy in preparation for upper key stage 2 assessments.

Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to guide their development.

Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Contributing to the wider school community and supporting extracurricular activities where appropriate.

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Have excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

Be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check.
