Location: Chorley, Lancashire

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent Opportunities

Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Chorley area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teacher. This well-established school has a strong community ethos and is committed to providing a high-quality education that enables every child to achieve their full potential.

Your new role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will create a positive and stimulating learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress

Creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

Managing behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies

Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils

Contributing to the wider life of the school community

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2

Strong classroom management skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

The ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best

ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported within the role.
