Your new role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning while ensuring excellent academic progress.

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and additional learning needs.

Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively.

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community.

Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.

Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Excellent classroom management skills.

The ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
