- Adapt support strategies to meet individual students' learning and communication needs.

- Encourage students to develop independence, confidence and self-advocacy skills.

- Support students both inside and outside of the classroom where required.

- Assist with literacy, numeracy, organisation and general learning activities.

- Follow individual support plans and college policies and procedures.

- Promote an inclusive, supportive and positive learning environment.

- Previous experience supporting young people or adults with additional needs/SEND.

- Experience working with students who have EHCPs is highly desirable.

- Work within a supportive mainstream college environment.

- Opportunity to gain valuable Further Education and SEN experience.

- Excellent opportunity for candidates looking to develop a long-term career in education.
