September 2026.

You'll work alongside experienced class teachers and school leaders, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a primary school environment while developing the skills, confidence and classroom experience needed to progress into a long-term career in education.

Graduates from any university degree course are encouraged to apply. We particularly welcome applications from graduates who have achieved a degree.

What You'll Be Doing

As a

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you'll support teachers and pupils across the school, helping children to engage with their learning and reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting class teachers with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons

• Providing

1:1 and small-group support to pupils

• Helping pupils develop their literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum skills

• Delivering targeted interventions to support individual pupil progress

• Supporting children who may require additional help with their learning

• Working with pupils with

SEND and helping to remove barriers to learning

• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, independence and resilience

• Assisting with classroom preparation, organisation and learning resources

• Supporting pupils during classroom activities, break times and other aspects of the school day

• Building positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff

• Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive

What We're Looking For

We're looking for graduates who are enthusiastic about working with children and are serious about developing a career within

primary education.

You'll ideally have:

• A

First Class or 2:1 Degree -

A degree in any subject

• A genuine passion for working with children

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, positive and proactive approach

• The confidence to build positive relationships with primary-aged children

• A willingness to learn from experienced teachers and school leaders

• The motivation to develop your classroom skills and experience

• A genuine ambition to pursue a

long-term career in education

• The right to work in the UK on a full-time basis

Previous experience working with children or within a school is beneficial but not essential.
