You'll work alongside experienced teachers and school leaders, gaining valuable hands-on classroom experience while developing the communication, behaviour management and teaching skills needed to progress into a long-term career in education.

Graduates from any university degree course are encouraged to apply. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who have achieved a

First Class or 2:1 /2:2 Degree.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils and teachers across the school.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the curriculum

• Working with pupils on

1:1 and small-group interventions

• Supporting literacy, numeracy and subject-specific learning

• Providing additional support to pupils who need extra guidance or encouragement

• Supporting children with

SEND and helping remove barriers to learning

• Promoting positive behaviour, confidence, resilience and independence

• Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and learning resources

• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Helping create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every pupil can thrive

What We're Looking For

We're looking for graduates who are enthusiastic about starting a career in education and are keen to gain valuable experience in a school environment.

You'll ideally have:

A

First Class or 2:1 degree - A degree in any subject

• A genuine

passion for working with children and young people

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A

positive,

proactive and

professional attitude

• The ability to build positive

relationships with

pupils

• A

willingness to learn from experienced educators

• A genuine

ambition to pursue a

long-term career within education

The right to work in the UK on a full-time basis

Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
