Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from

September 2026.

This role is ideal for graduates who want to understand what it's really like to work in a primary school. You'll spend your days supporting pupils, working alongside experienced teachers and helping children overcome challenges and achieve their potential.

Your degree subject doesn't matter — graduates from all disciplines are welcome. Whether you've studied Psychology, Sport, English, History, Business, Science, Languages or something completely different, we'd be keen to hear from you.

We also welcome graduates with a

First, 2:1 or 2:2 degree.

Your Role in the Classroom

Every day will be different. You'll become an important member of the school team, helping teachers provide the support pupils need to succeed.

You could be involved in:

• Supporting learning activities across the primary curriculum

• Working with individual pupils who need additional encouragement or support

• Running or assisting with

small-group interventions

• Helping children with reading, writing, maths and wider learning

• Supporting pupils with SEND and adapting activities to meet their needs

• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping children develop independence

• Providing reassurance and encouragement to pupils who lack confidence

• Preparing classroom materials and assisting teachers with daily activities

• Helping maintain an organised and positive classroom environment

• Developing strong relationships with pupils and becoming a trusted member of the school team

Could You Be the Right Fit?

We're interested in graduates who are

enthusiastic, reliable and genuinely interested in working with children.

You don't need to have studied Education or have previous classroom experience.

We're looking for someone who has:

• A

First, 2:1 or 2:2 degree

• A degree in

any subject

• A genuine interest in working with primary-aged children

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude

• The ability to build rapport with children

• A willingness to take advice and learn from experienced teachers

• The ambition to develop a career in education

• The right to work in the UK on a full-time basis

Previous experience working with children is welcomed but is not essential.
