Summary

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a leading commercial vehicle company in Preston. Duties:

- Service, maintain, and repair heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing in compliance with regulatory standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the workshop environment

- Effectively communicate with team members and management

- Keep accurate records of all work carried out and report any additional repairs required

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an HGV Technician with a Level 3 qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)

- Time-served experience working on large commercial vehicles

- Valid full UK driving licence; Class 1 licence preferred

- Ability to work effectively within a team

- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
