We are seeking a proactive and organised Mobile Area Supervisor to oversee the delivery of soft facilities services across a portfolio of nine sites throughout the South East, stretching from Peterborough to Hastings and across to Watford.
This is a home-based role, with Essex being the ideal location due to the travel requirements across the region.
Job Description
We are looking for a people-focused leader who can support operational excellence, maintain compliance standards, and provide coaching and development to teams across multiple locations.
Reporting to the Key Account Manager, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent workplace experience while ensuring consistent service standards across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
Visit and support teams across all nine sites, ensuring service standards are consistently maintained.
Provide training, coaching and development to cleaning and facilities staff (Placemakers).
Carry out audits, inspections and compliance checks across the region.
Manage and monitor purchase orders (POs) and work orders.
Support site operations and work closely with management to plan and prioritise weekly activities.
Oversee stock control and inventory management across multiple locations.
Line manage approximately 10 direct reports, including appraisals and performance reviews.
Ensure the safe, compliant and competent delivery of services across all assigned sites.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven supervisory or people management experience.
Experience managing or supporting a mobile, multi-site workforce is highly desirable.
Facilities Management (FM) experience is preferred.
Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
Comfortable with regular travel and managing multiple sites.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to balance operational management, team support and administrative responsibilities.
Full UK driving licence essential.
Additional Information
Home-based role with regular travel across the South East.
Responsible for a territory covering nine sites from Peterborough to Hastings and across to Watford.
Monthly visits to each site are required, with additional visits as operationally necessary.
Administrative support will be provided by an Admin Assistant.
Company van provided for business travel.
