Summary
The Inverness Courier - and wider Highland News & Media titles - want a passionate and driven senior reporter to head up our business content
They would join the teams in Inverness and Elgin, while also working with colleagues and communities across the broader Highlands, Moray and Shetland. While welcome in our newsrooms, once settled there will be flexibility to work from home or community spaces across our patch. They will be expected to establish themselves as the face of our business coverage - no stranger to networking events, business awards and other opportunities to connect with business leaders.
As a digital-first operation consistently analysing content performance, we understand the value subscribers place on business content - but it has to be a blend of news, features and analysis that is relatable and not bogged down in technicalities and spreadsheets. We want someone enthusiastic and passionate about connecting with the local business community who can not only look at all the key issues that are important to them, but cover them in a way that connects with everyone as human interest articles are a key pillar for our overall content strategy.
