We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming school in Ealing seeking a Lead SEND Teaching Assistant to play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs while helping to strengthen the school's inclusive practice.

Working closely with the SENCO, class teachers and wider pastoral team, you'll help coordinate targeted interventions, support colleagues, and ensure every child receives the personalised support they need to thrive both academically and socially.

As the Lead SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

- Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with a range of additional needs.

- Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH, sensory needs and learning difficulties.

- Help implement individual support plans and EHCP targets.

- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and intervention planning.

- Work closely with teachers to adapt learning activities and promote inclusion within the classroom.

- Support the SENCO with organising interventions and maintaining high standards across the SEND provision.

- Offer guidance and encouragement to other Teaching Assistants when appropriate.

- Build positive relationships with pupils, families and external professionals.

- Promote positive behaviour, independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has substantial experience supporting children with SEND within a primary school.

- Understands a range of additional needs and effective intervention strategies.

- Is confident working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and outside agencies.

- Can remain calm, patient and adaptable in a busy school environment.

- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.

- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

You'll become part of a friendly and supportive school that genuinely values its staff and invests in professional development.

Benefits include:

- A welcoming and inclusive school community.

- Supportive leadership and an experienced SEND team.

- Ongoing CPD and specialist SEND training.

- Well-resourced classrooms and intervention spaces.

- Opportunities to develop leadership skills and progress your career.

- A collaborative environment where your ideas and expertise are valued.

We're passionate about connecting talented education professionals with schools where they can genuinely make a difference.

When you register with us, you'll receive:

- Competitive PAYE pay of £100-£110 per day.

- Weekly pay with no umbrella companies or hidden deductions.

- A dedicated education consultant providing ongoing support.

- Access to exclusive long-term and permanent SEND opportunities.

- Honest advice throughout your job search.

- A personalised service focused on helping you achieve your long-term career goals.
