We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school in Harrow to recruit an experienced Lead SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term opportunity.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND professional looking to take on additional responsibility within a supportive school community. Working alongside the SENCO, teachers, and wider inclusion team, you'll play a key role in ensuring pupils with additional needs receive the personalised support they need to achieve their full potential.

The school is committed to creating an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed, both academically and personally.

As a Lead SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide high-quality support for pupils with a range of additional needs while helping to maintain excellent standards across the school's SEND provision.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND

- Supporting teachers in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities

- Working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, speech and language needs, and other additional learning needs

- Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to intervention plans and review meetings

- Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and positive social development

- Working collaboratively with the SENCO, teaching staff, parents, carers, and external professionals

- Providing guidance and support to Teaching Assistants where appropriate

- Promoting safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing at all times

We're looking for a dedicated and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and committed to achieving positive outcomes for every learner.

You'll ideally have:

- Significant experience supporting pupils with SEND within a school setting

- A strong understanding of inclusive education and effective intervention strategies

- Experience supporting children with a range of additional and complex learning needs

- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills

- A calm, patient, and resilient approach

- A genuine commitment to helping every child succeed

- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

As part of the team, you'll benefit from:

- A welcoming, inclusive, and supportive school community

- Experienced leadership with a strong commitment to high-quality SEND provision

- Ongoing CPD and specialist training opportunities

- A collaborative team environment where your contribution is valued

- Well-resourced classrooms and dedicated intervention spaces

- Opportunities to further develop your skills and progress your career within SEND education

We believe in building long-term relationships with both schools and education professionals. We take the time to understand your experience, career aspirations, and preferences, ensuring we match you with opportunities where you can thrive.

When you register with us, you'll receive:

- Competitive PAYE pay of £100-£110 per day

- Weekly pay with no umbrella companies or hidden deductions

- Ongoing support from a dedicated education recruitment consultant

- Access to exclusive long-term and permanent SEND opportunities

- Honest advice and clear communication throughout your recruitment journey

- A personalised service focused on supporting your long-term career development
