  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A positive, proactive approach to supporting and developing nursery teams.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional early years education and care.

What You'll Receive

  • £32,000 per year

  • Discounted childcare
  • Christmas closure
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Opportunity to progress your leadership career within a supportive nursery environment

Your Role

  • Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of the nursery.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the nursery team, promoting consistently high standards of care and education.
  • Help maintain engaging learning environments that inspire creativity, confidence, and curiosity.
  • Support staff through coaching, supervisions, and ongoing professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Monitor the quality of practice across the nursery, driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.
  • Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
