Summary
Room Leader
£29,300 per year | Level 3 | 40 Hours per Week
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Level 3 Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery where you'll have the freedom to lead your room, inspire your team, and help children build the confidence and skills they'll carry with them long after they leave nursery.
Working closely with the wider management team, you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of care and education while creating exciting, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence.
What We're Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Deputy Room Leader, or an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A positive and supportive approach to mentoring colleagues.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive.

Your Role
- Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring exceptional standards of care and education.
- Inspire, support, and develop your team through positive leadership and mentoring.
- Plan engaging, play-based activities that encourage children's confidence, creativity, and independence.
- Observe, assess, and support children's individual learning journeys in line with the EYFS framework.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child can flourish.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and early years practice.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to continually improve the quality of the nursery.
