Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Setter to join a well-established and highly respected manufacturing company based in West Bromwich.
Pay & Shift Details
- Hourly Rate: £14.90 - £16.47 (depending on experience)
- Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts
- Morning Shift: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:00, Friday 06:00-13:00
- Afternoon Shift: Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:00, Friday 13:00-20:00
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate press brakes and associated equipment
- Manufacture parts efficiently to meet production targets
- Monitor output rates and report any issues affecting performance
- Take ownership of product quality and ensure standards are met
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Uphold high standards of workplace organisation (5S)
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
- Carry out any additional duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience and strong knowledge of press brake operation
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Driven to meet and exceed targets while maintaining safety and quality
- Positive attitude with a commitment to company values
