Summary
Masstemps are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter/Operator on behalf of a busy client near the Oldbury area.
Responsibilities include:
• Set and Operate brake press machinery to fold and form metal components according to production drawings and specifications.
• Load and unload materials safely onto the press, ensuring correct positioning and alignment.
• Conduct visual and dimensional checks to maintain quality standards.
• Competent in using measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, height gauges, and angle gauges.
About You
• Proven experience setting and operating CNC press brakes.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and bending processes.
• Experience producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Experience selecting appropriate tooling and machine parameters for different materials and thicknesses.
• Good understanding of CNC press brake machine setup.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritise workload effectively.
Hours
Monday to Friday
06:00am - 14:00pm
Pay Rate
£15.00ph (overtime paid at 1.5)
