Cover People are recruiting a Teaching Assistant on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Stockport. The school has a strong community ethos and encourages children to become curious, resilient learners through a broad and engaging curriculum. Staff work collaboratively to create a positive environment where every child feels challenged, supported and inspired to achieve their best.
- Provide classroom support within Key Stage 2
- Deliver intervention sessions in literacy and numeracy
- Support pupils who require additional academic or pastoral support
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials
- Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and participation
- Work alongside teachers to monitor progress and celebrate achievement
- Experience working with primary-aged children
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to motivate and engage pupils
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
