Nursery Manager

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire

Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Full-time

Completely Care is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded early years provider for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a successful nursery in Didcot.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated childcare professional who is looking to take ownership of a nursery setting and inspire a team to deliver exceptional standards of care and education. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive, nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

You will be responsible for leading the nursery team, maintaining outstanding practice and ensuring the setting continues to provide high-quality early years experiences for children and their families.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will:

Lead, motivate and inspire a team of early years professionals to deliver outstanding childcare.

Oversee the daily operation of the nursery, ensuring excellent standards of care, education and safety.

Ensure compliance with the EYFS framework, safeguarding requirements and regulatory standards.

Support, coach and develop staff to achieve their full potential.

Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community.

Monitor children's learning and development to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Create a stimulating and inclusive environment where children feel supported and valued.

Work alongside the wider leadership team to drive continuous improvement and nursery success.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

A Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.

Previous experience managing or leading within an early years setting.

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities.

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

A passion for delivering outstanding childcare and early years education.

The ability to inspire and develop a team while maintaining consistently high standards.

Safeguarding

The successful applicant will be required to complete safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and right to work verification. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
