Nursery Manager

Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire

Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Completely Care is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded early years provider for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a thriving nursery in Wantage.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated childcare professional to take the next step in their career with a nursery that is committed to delivering outstanding care and education. You'll be responsible for leading a passionate team, maintaining exceptional standards and creating an environment where children, families and staff can thrive.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will:

Lead the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.

Inspire, support and develop a dedicated team of early years professionals.

Ensure compliance with the EYFS framework, safeguarding legislation and all relevant regulatory requirements.

Promote a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn and develop.

Build strong relationships with children, families, staff and external agencies.

Monitor the quality of teaching, learning and children's development across the nursery.

Manage occupancy, staffing and operational performance while driving continuous improvement.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

A Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.

Previous experience as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager or in a senior leadership role within an early years setting.

A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities.

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

A passion for delivering outstanding childcare and early years education.

The ability to motivate and inspire a team while maintaining high standards throughout the nursery.

Safeguarding

The successful applicant will be required to complete safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and proof of the right to work in the UK. A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
