The role is based with a local logistics operation and offers the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day transport services in the Nottingham area.The roleWe are looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join a local transport operation on a temporary, daytime basis. This is a hands-on driving role suited to a reliable professional who is comfortable working independently and supporting warehouse and delivery activities when required.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing local and regional delivery and collection work• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts• Loading and unloading goods as required• Completing handball duties• Ensuring delivery documentation is completed accurately• Following site, transport and health and safety procedures• Representing the business professionally when dealing with customers and site teamsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement• Current Driver CPC and digital tachograph card• Experience in HGV driving or transport operations• Ability to complete handball duties• Good understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyBenefits• £17.00 to £17.50 per hour• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employers• Day shifts• Temporary work in the Nottingham areaApply today.
