This role would suit an experienced professional driver who is confident working independently, follows safety procedures and takes pride in completing deliveries reliably.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing overnight transport and delivery work• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Securing loads correctly and checking relevant paperwork• Following planned routes, delivery instructions and legal driving requirements• Completing delivery records accurately• Reporting any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly• Maintaining professional standards when dealing with customers and site personnelSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, also known as Category C+E• Valid Driver CPC qualification• Valid digital tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road safety requirements• Reliable, punctual and able to work night shifts• Good communication and organisational skills• Professional approach to vehicle care and delivery workBenefits• £18.00 to £18.50 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employers• Temporary night-shift assignment in NottinghamApply today.
