This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established company that supplies tailored linen services to healthcare providers across the UK.Operating from multiple sites nationwide, the company runs its own fleet of HGV vehicles, delivering essential linen products to hospitals and healthcare facilities.The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting linen to and from healthcare customers across the UK, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.Duties Include:Delivering and collecting linen from healthcare facilities.Loading and unloading cages using a tail lift.Completing vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.Providing a professional and reliable service to customers.Following all driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations.There is minimal handball involved, with the majority of work completed using cages and tail-lift equipment.RequirementsValid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.Valid Driver CPC qualification.Digital Tachograph Card.No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).Safety boots and high-visibility vest.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons and nights.A professional attitude with excellent reliability and timekeeping.What We OfferTemp-to-perm opportunity with a reputable employer.Regular, ongoing work.Flexible shift patterns.Weekly pay while working through Workchain.Ongoing support from a dedicated Workchain recruitment consultant.If you're an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for your next opportunity in Derby, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today through the Workchain website or submit your application directly via this advert.
