This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for stable, long-distance work with a reputable and long-standing logistics company.With over 60 years of industry experience, this business operates a large warehouse facility specialising in container handling, loading, and distribution across the UK.The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods nationwide, ensuring safe, timely and professional transport of products to major retail customers.This is a straightforward role with one drop per day and no handball, making it ideal for drivers who prefer clean, simple trunking-style work.Duties Include:Completing nationwide deliveries of goods to wholesalers and retail customers.Operating Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently.Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections.Ensuring loads are transported securely and safely.Completing delivery paperwork accurately.Providing a professional and courteous service at all times.Adhering to drivers’ hours, tachograph regulations and all road transport legislation.RequirementsValid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.Valid Driver CPC qualification.Digital Tachograph Card.No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).Safety boots and high-visibility vest required.Good understanding of UK road transport regulations.Reliable, punctual and professional with a strong work ethic.What We OfferCompetitive rates of pay.Regular Monday to Friday work.07:00 AM starts.Average shifts of 10–12 hours.One drop per day – no handball.Ongoing, stable work with a reputable haulier.Weekly pay.Ongoing support from your dedicated Workchain Recruitment consultant.If you're an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a stable long-distance role in Breaston, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today through the Workchain website.Workchain is an equal opportunities employer.
