The role offers an opportunity for an experienced HGV driver to contribute to the safe and reliable movement of equipment and materials connected with event operations.The roleWe are looking for a dependable HGV Class 1 Driver to support daytime transport activities. You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and professionally while maintaining high standards of vehicle care and compliance.Key responsibilities• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle in line with road safety and legal requirements• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections across planned routes• Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys• Secure loads safely and report any issues promptly• Complete delivery paperwork and other required records accurately• Communicate professionally with site contacts and colleagues• Support loading and unloading activities when required• Maintain a clean and presentable vehicleSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 entitlement• Any legally required driver documentation, including relevant CPC and tachograph requirements• Previous HGV driving experience• Good knowledge of safe driving and vehicle-check procedures• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Ability to follow instructions and work independently• Good communication and customer-service skills• Physically able to assist with loading and unloading where necessaryBenefits• £17 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Visibility to local employersIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for temporary daytime work in the Pinxton area, apply today.
