The role supports day-to-day transport and delivery activity and is suited to an experienced HGV Class 2 driver with tramper and HIAB capability. The position offers regular paid hours and the opportunity to work locally.The roleWe are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy operation on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, while providing a professional service at each location.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with road and site safety requirements• Completing delivery and collection work across planned routes• Operating HIAB equipment safely and responsibly• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Securing loads and checking relevant delivery documentation• Following instructions, route plans and company procedures• Maintaining clear communication with transport and site teams• Working as a tramper driver when requiredSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Current Driver CPC and digital tachograph card• HIAB experience and relevant certification• Previous tramper driving experience• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations• A safe, dependable and professional approach• Good communication and time-management skills• Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedulesBenefits• Minimum 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB and tramper experience, this could be a suitable temporary opportunity in Mansfield.Apply today.
