You will be responsible for moving vehicles safely and efficiently, with shunting forming a key part of the position.Key responsibilities• Carry out shunting duties safely and efficiently• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in line with company procedures• Complete vehicle checks and report any defects or issues• Manoeuvre vehicles carefully in yards and designated areas• Follow site, road safety and transport requirements• Maintain a professional and dependable approach throughout each shiftSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement• Previous shunting experience• Safe and confident vehicle manoeuvring skills• Good awareness of safety procedures• Reliable, punctual and professional• Able to work independently and follow instructionsBenefits• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Local Nottingham opportunity with visibility to local employersThis is a permanent daytime position offering competitive hourly pay and regular work for a capable HGV Class 1 Driver.
