The role is based at its Nottingham operation and will help maintain reliable day-to-day transport and delivery activity.The roleWe are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to support daytime delivery operations in Nottingham. This temporary position would suit a professional driver who takes pride in safe, punctual and well-organised work.Key responsibilities• Carry out planned deliveries safely and on time• Complete vehicle checks before and after journeys• Load, secure and unload goods in line with safe-working procedures• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues• Report any vehicle, delivery or operational issues promptly• Follow all relevant road, transport and site safety requirementsSkills and qualifications• Valid UK Category C licence• Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Tachograph knowledge and a suitable Driver Digital Tachograph Card• A safe, responsible and professional approach to driving• Good time-management and communication skills• Ability to handle delivery-related tasks and work to schedules• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience is desirableBenefits• £16 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employers• Day shifts• Temporary work in NottinghamIf you are dependable, safety-conscious and available for daytime HGV Class 2 driving work, we would like to hear from you.Apply today.
