Its operations include vehicle maintenance and transport-related services, with a focus on reliable vehicles, professional support and protecting customers’ goods and reputation.The roleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:• Driving an HGV safely and responsibly in line with UK road and transport regulations• Completing deliveries and collections across planned routes• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each journey• Ensuring loads are secure and handled with care• Completing delivery paperwork and recording relevant information accurately• Communicating professionally with customers, depot staff and transport colleagues• Reporting vehicle defects, delays or delivery issues promptly• Maintaining a high standard of safety and customer serviceSkills and qualificationsYou should have:• A valid Category C HGV driving licence• A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• A valid digital tachograph card• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations• A safe, careful and responsible approach to driving• The ability to complete vehicle checks and delivery records• Good communication and time-management skills• A professional attitude and reliable attendance• The ability to work independently and follow instructionsPrevious experience in an HGV Class 2 driving role is desirable.
