Its local operation in Coalville supports the collection and handling of waste and recyclable materials, with a focus on reliable service and responsible resource management.The roleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Delivering, exchanging and collecting skips• Completing local waste and recycling collections• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Securing loads and following relevant transport and site procedures• Completing delivery notes and other required paperwork• Providing polite and professional service to customers and site contacts• Reporting any vehicle, load or collection issues promptlySkills and qualificationsYou should have:• A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• A valid digital tachograph card• Previous experience in skip work, waste collection or a similar driving role• Good knowledge of safe loading and vehicle checks• A professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach• The ability to work independently and manage a busy daily schedule• Good communication and customer service skillsBenefits• £16 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Days-based shifts• Opportunity to be considered by local employers• Potential opportunity for permanent employmentApply today.
