You will be responsible for driving safely, completing scheduled runs and ensuring goods are handled and transported with care.Key responsibilities• Carry out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently• Complete vehicle checks before and after each journey• Load, secure and unload goods appropriately• Follow route instructions, delivery schedules and site procedures• Complete delivery paperwork accurately• Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and care• Communicate professionally with customers, site teams and colleagues• Report any vehicle, delivery or safety issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card• Previous experience in an HGV Class 2 driving role• Good knowledge of road safety and legal driving requirements• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Ability to work independently and manage scheduled duties• Good communication and organisational skills• Physically able to assist with loading and unloading when requiredThis temporary daytime position offers £16 per hour and would suit a committed driver who takes pride in providing a safe and dependable service.Apply today.
