Job purpose/about the role Use BSL to promote access to both formal and informal learning experiences within a wide range of Aberdeen City settings. To contribute to creating an environment where children and young people can be supported to reach their fullest potential. This is an important post, in which the preferred candidate will promote access to the curriculum for assigned pupils across a range of Aberdeen City Council settings through the use of British Sign Language (BSL) and other appropriate strategies as directed. If appointed, you will help to create a supportive and positive atmosphere where pupils can work together towards independence and inclusion. Applicants must have experience of working with children and young people of school age who have hearing loss.
