He likes to be involved in everything he can access safely, whether that is in his specialist seating, on the floor for relaxed play, or engaging in calm, structured activities. We are looking for someone who can support him mainly during weekends and school holidays, helping him to enjoy his time in a safe, engaging, and comfortable way. The role is flexible and centred around his needs and routines. The role is part-time and flexible, consisting of: Approximately 4 hours during school run periods Up to 8 hours during school holidays / half terms Hours may vary slightly depending on family needs, but will be agreed in advance. Matei requires support with all aspects of daily care, including feeding and drinking (he eats orally), personal care including nappies, safe positioning, transfers, and use of specialist equipment such as a hoist. We are a very hands-on family and have all necessary equipment in place at home, including adapted equipment and a garden bungalow which allows space for care, rest, and activities. I am looking for a female PA who can help me have the best days I can by assisting me with daily tasks including health, personal care, transfers, medication, attending appointments, domestic support, accessing the community and hobbies. You will be required to carry out health tasks following relevant, appropriate training and competency assessment. Provide high-quality person centred care and support for an individual with complex healthcare needs in their own home and/or in the community. Support client with complex and unpredictable conditions such as chronic and acute pain, spasmodic limbs, physical and sensory disability, neurological impairment, memory loss, acquired brain injury, autism and mental health challenges. The role of a Complex Care Support Worker or Personal Assistant enables me to live an independent life in my own home whilst ensuring that my health and wellbeing needs are met. Key Responsibilities: One to one supervision and support is needed in all areas of client’s daily life Helping client move around safely, using assistive devices. Assist in moving and handling transfers from bed, chair, car, etc to and from wheelchair and repositioning to prevent pressure damage.
