To support the growth of this programme, we are funding candidates to enrol on a Gymnastics Activity Instructor (GAI) course. The Gymnastics Activity Instructor (GAI) is a standalone British Gymnastics qualification designed as an entry point into delivering gymnastics. The course is a 4‑day training programme, and once completed you will be accredited to independently deliver recreational gymnastics sessions. Our Gymnastic Programme sessions will be running on weekdays, weekends and during holidays, so flexible availability is required for the role. Positions are available at Brentford, Heston, Hanworth and Chiswick. WHAT IS THE JOB OF A GYMNASTICS COACH? As qualified gymnastic coaches, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sessions, ensuring a positive and safe experience for every participant. You will help shape the development of gymnastics within Lampton Leisure, while supporting the growth of your team through mentoring and coaching support. You will: * Deliver structured, engaging, and safe sessions across Parent & Child, Pre-School, and Recreational age groups. * Instruct gymnasts on proper techniques, form, and routines. * Provide constructive feedback to help gymnasts improve their skills. * Help plan, organise, and review lesson content to meet badge framework and session goals. * Help with equipment set-up, session briefings, and ensure safe use of apparatus * Maintain high standards in safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practice Liaise with parents and carers to support participant progress and feedback. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You don’t need any prior qualifications to apply, as you will be supported throughout your training but a passion for gymnastics is a must!
