OEM Mechanical Assembly Technician

The Job:

We are recruiting for an OEM Mechanical Assembly Technician on behalf of a leading agricultural and construction machinery manufacturer based in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where you'll be involved in the assembly of high quality agricultural and construction equipment. Working within a modern production facility, you'll assemble mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components while ensuring the highest standards of quality and workmanship.

The role would suit someone with an agricultural engineering, agricultural mechanisation, mechanical engineering or assembly background who enjoys working with machinery and is looking for long term career progression.

The Company:

Our client is an established OEM manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment with a strong reputation for innovation, quality and continual investment in both its products and workforce. As the business continues to expand, they are looking to strengthen their production team with skilled and motivated individuals.

The Candidate:

- Minimum three years' experience within a mechanical assembly, agricultural engineering, manufacturing or similar environment

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills

- Experience using hand and power tools

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively within a team

- Agricultural Engineering or Agricultural Mechanisation qualification (completed or partially completed)

- Agricultural machinery experience

- Experience assembling hydraulic systems

- Electrical wiring, diagnostics, or fault finding experience

- Construction machinery experience

The Package:

- Salary €17.00-€22.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

- Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday: 7:00am-3:00p & Overtime available throughout the year

- Plenty of overtime available

- Ongoing training and development

Candidate Requirements

All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
