The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the coordination and delivery of the Trust’s Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme across the West Hub’s secondary academies. They will ensure the programme fully complies with statutory requirements, while driving continuous improvement towards achieving all eight Gatsby Benchmarks. Working closely with senior leaders, governors, and external partners, the Careers Hub Leader will monitor, evaluate, and enhance the effectiveness of the careers provision, through the use of benchmarking tools, performance data, and quality assurance processes, providing clear and impactful reporting to stakeholders including Ofsted. A central aspect of the role will involve building and sustaining strong partnerships with employers, further and higher education providers, training organisations and external agencies. The postholder will represent the Trust within professional networks and create meaningful opportunities for students to engage with the world of work. They will also work closely with parents and carers to support young people in making well-informed decisions about their future pathways, fostering a collaborative approach that raises aspirations and promotes positive destinations for all students. About You The successful candidate will be… Knowledgeable about the Gatsby Benchmarks and wider Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) frameworks, with the ability to apply them effectively to support positive outcomes for young people. Holding, or working towards, a Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance. Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook Maintaining accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP. Participating in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities. Maintaining a high standard of hygiene within the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
